ATHLX ("we," "us") is built to help athletes get seen. We take your privacy seriously and keep this simple. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you sign up for updates, you may share your name, email, role, sport, and city/state.
- Your profile content. The stats, academics, film links, and other details you enter into the profile builder are saved in your own browser and encoded into any shareable link you choose to create. This profile data is not stored on our servers.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard information such as device type and general location for security and reliability.
How we use it
We use your information to send you updates about ATHLX, respond to you, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't run advertising trackers.
Services we rely on
A few trusted services help ATHLX run: Beehiiv (email updates), Netlify (website hosting), and Anthropic (which powers the AI recruiting roadmap — the details you type into the roadmap tool are sent to generate your plan). Each has its own privacy practices.
Your device and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to save your profile and outreach progress on your device, so you don't need an account. Clearing your browser storage removes that saved information.
Student-athletes and minors
ATHLX is built for student-athletes, and some are under 18. If you are under 18, please use ATHLX together with a parent or guardian. We only ask for information that helps with recruiting, and parents or guardians can contact us to review or remove a young person's information at any time.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message. You can clear your browser storage to remove your local profile. To access or delete information we hold, email us at hello@athlxapp.com.
Changes
We may update this policy as ATHLX grows. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
